Just add water and 1 lb. of browned ground beef for the easiest, heartiest, bestest chili ever! Developed as a mild heat chili, you can add more peppers (or reduce the amount of meat you add) if you like your chili hotter!
The beans, tomato base, and spices are all in the mix. The instructions call for adding a pound of ground beef; but you can use ground turkey if you prefer. Serve it with hearty corn chips, and if you like, a dollop of sour cream right on top.

Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain.

In large kettle combine chili mix with 4 1/2 cups hot water. Add enclosed packet of red beans. Blend well with whisk.
- Add ground beef. Simmer 20-30 minutes stirring occasionally.
