Tavernhouse Cheese Soup

 A creamy cheese soup with the perfect blend of 4 different cheeses. Serves 5.

One of our favorites, this creamy and cheesy soup is complete all on its own … You simply won’t believe this soup came from a mix.

In your first spoonful you’ll discover the perfect blend of four cheeses: Cheddar, Romano, Parmesan, and even a touch of Blue. When you serve it, we suggest sprinkling popped popcorn on top for the perfect garnish.

Enjoy it just as it is … or … if you wish, add broccoli or cauliflower. Be prepared to love it; we suggest making a double batch.

Just add water.

Additions:

Cooking Directions:

• Pour 4 cups hot water into soup pot.
• Add soup mix, blend well with whisk.
• Cook over low heat 30 minutes (with lid on), stirring occasionally; do not boil.
• For thicker soup, simmer a bit longer with lid off. For thinner soup, add a bit more water.

Variations/Additions:

• To make a true beer cheese soup, replace 1 1/2 cup of water with a can of your favorite beer.
• Add diced ham or crumbled, cooked bacon.
• Add fresh or frozen broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes or other favorite vegetables.Ingredients:
